signs a six months letting contract, with the possibility of extending
the contract to one year .The difference between Spain and England is

higher rents.
Times are beginning to change, as so many English people are now looking
for work in Spain and require a home to rent whilst adjusting to Spanish
life. The times when only retired people lived in Spain have long gone.
The normal procedure for payment is one month's rent in advance, plus
a month's deposit, which is returned to the tenant on leaving. No monies
are exchanged until contracts are signed.
